Michael Higgins
Michael Higgins is a biotechnology investment research professional with more than 20 years analyzing and forecasting companies, drug development programs, and emerging therapies. Over the course of his career, he has served as a Managing Director and Senior Biotechnology Equity Research Analyst, covering ~75 biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and prepared for ~1,000 management meetings. His work has focused on evaluating clinical-stage assets, drug development strategies, and the potential for therapies to create meaningful value through clinical and regulatory milestones relative to peers. His research career has included coverage of companies whose programs have ultimately resulted in 55 FDA approvals. For perspective, Citeline estimates there are ~6,000 life science companies but only ~60 FDA approved products per year.
Michael founded Eryvo Pharma Solutions, Inc. where he leverages his extensive experience in biotechnology research and investment to identify overlooked clinical-stage drug assets with attractive risk-adjusted return potential. Eryvo focuses on assets that have already generated substantial clinical data but were discontinued by their original developers for reasons other than fundamental scientific failure, allowing the company to evaluate opportunities with a level of insight that is typically unavailable to new investors. Michael's approach is grounded in understanding both the science and the investment risk surrounding drug development, with a particular focus on identifying assets where a clearly defined patient population, existing clinical evidence, and a focused development strategy can create a compelling path to value creation.

Bibhash Mukhopadhyay, PhD
Bibhash is an asset manager, allocator, investor, company builder and board member with almost 2 decades of experience in biotech. Through DW Wealth Management, he advises various Family Offices and Disease foundations on investing in the healthcare sector, either by seeding new funds or directly into companies. Through Sapient Biotech, he manages a sector-specialized investment fund that invests exclusively in biotech companies, both private and small-cap public, with a fundamental, bottom-up, absolute-return strategy.
Previously, he was a co-founder and GP in Sound Bioventures and an investor with the biotech practice of a large, diversified venture fund, NEA. Prior to that he has operating experience in business development, portfolio management and corporate strategy functions at both AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson. He has led, managed and exited multiple private and public biotech investments, participated in multiple major in-licensing, divestiture and acquisitions and cross-border Europe / US deals and has had advisory roles in several life science incubators and healthcare delivery non-profits. His education spans 3 continents culminating with a PhD in the biology of retinal degeneration from Baylor College of Medicine.
